It was snowing at home when we left on Sunday. B R U T A L. The weather there hasn't changed much since we left. Sigh.
But let's focus on the here and now. On Sunday, we arrived in Chicago just two hours after taking off (I love the direct flight!) and it was a beautiful spring day.
Hubs and I went to Macy's (the old Marshall Fields) -- we caught the last day of the Macy's Flower Show on the 9th floor. Signs of spring, people!
Looking down at Macy's (Hubs took this picture obviously, as I would have fainted and dropped the camera. Oh speaking of my camera, I LOVE. Especially since I now know how to use the zoom button. Very helpful!)
Then we went to Navy Pier and walked around.
The "America's Dog" hot dogs are the best. I'm really craving another one.
We checked out the Ferris Wheel
and stumbled upon this Conservatory.
The next morning, we went to The Art Institute of Chicago, which we loved.
We had our Ferris Bueller museum moment (see below video) while looking at this painting.
Then we went to Millenium Park to see Cloud Gate "The Bean". Very fun photo opps.
Off to get a Starbucks. Ta-ta!
